Cos my 'move posts into thread' magic wand isn't working, so I waved the 'move posts to new thread' wand and that worked ok.

I'll merge em in here as soon as it's back from Ollivander's...

I was gonna move the beer discussion from the 'iSketchforum Pictures thread' into this thread, but they got stuck on the way in. I've just separated them into another thread instead.

So, in answer to your question... not a lot probably. hehe.

Although, I do think its your post that starts the beer chat off. :)

If you want something more general you can start new thread (and if you do, then I do have a favourite drink that's stronger than beer )

I think beers are quite distinctive, hence this thread.

Go through and read what CHES says - there's a glitch.

But Beer really is important enough for two threads.

Ok - I have said it before and I will say it again, regardless of how many times you see Paul (Crocodile Dundee) Hogan chugging one back while throwing a “shrimp on the barbie”

NOBODY IN AUSTRALIA DRINKS FOSTERS!! (And we call em prawns here not shrimps!)

As a personal favourite, I choose VB - Victoria Bitter – Vic
A hard earned thirst needs a big cold beer. And the best cold beer is Vic.

If I had a boutique brew in mind – and when it’s available at my local bottle-shops I will buy it – The Malt Shovel Brewery’s - James Squire range. Preferably their porter, followed closely by their Amber Ale, Pilsener, India Pale Ale and at a pinch their Golden Ale – but that tastes like you just ate a bunch of flowers – all stonefruity and perfumey. Bleccchh!

I personally think that the best beer is the one you have after a really good or really stressful day. Sitting in a pub, with your mates watching a random football game on tv.

I've had so many beers, I can't decide on the best one. Apparently there are great things spoken of Estrella, but I've never tried it.

Unibroue has one called Le Fin Du Monde - The End Of The World - not bad but bloody expensive.

    Nice thread storm,

howver I do not like beer, I find the taste very bitter.

If anyone can recommend me a beer along the lines of a shandy and that's sold in the uk, I 'm willing to try it.

edit: not a strong one, you don't want me drunk on here do you.

I'll bring back a Radler beer from Germany for you. Vik will confirm with me this is beer and limeade or lemonade already mixed in it.
