This is a wonderful thread, and thanks for the comprehensive list spectre =) Here are a few more common ones we use in sci, expert and probably other rooms too- and sorry if I got a little too carried away :embarrassed:

So I decided to make my own list as well and out of curiousity (even though I do use it..) why is the the line with a circle?

I've seen a few people use the theta symbol to define other very short words like a, an, am, if, is etc. but it's not very common. If you draw those it's best to draw longer words that contain the two letters, like amber for am. Only draw "a" as a single word in a multi-word drawing though, and not as a single syllable of course
